Anjalee Scott nails the heart racing, pulse-quickening adrenaline rush of action and passion down. Like a freight train, the book rails into the thick of craziness right off the get-go and keeps building and building. The plot elements keep coming until the end when they all tie together. This installment of La Femme Fatale had me glued, wondering how it would play out.
The James Bond style of theatrics and sex, but with a female lead, really screams power and thrill without succumbing to traditional tropes. Nothing is held back and the Jack Reacher style action is gritty and masterful.
The passion in this novel builds on itself and never feels played out or too much. Just right.
The supporting characters are extremely likeable and if I said what I really wanted to regarding development, I'd have to write spoilers: it's that good.
Definitely recommend this novel. It's the first of Scott that I've read; I'm about to go through the catalog and pick up another.

I loved this book! The story was full of characters that leapt off the pages and I couldn't put the book down! It was captivating, suspenseful, laced with intrigue, and had me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed this book immensely. I definitely recommend you read it for yourself you won't be disappointed.
